Redesign Objectives
Transform the industrial look into a sleek, premium, modern profile, with dedicated branding surfaces and a cohesive colour, material and finish language.
Engineer airflow paths around the electronics, distribute cooling air across the motor body under continuous high load, and add acoustic baffling that noticeably suppresses motor sound.
Replace the hard-to-undo threaded leaf-basket cover with an effortless mechanism, break the seal vacuum at the touch of a lid, and keep the control panel fully visible and reachable.
Preserve the exact inlet and outlet port centerlines and thread sizes, so the new pump installs into existing plumbing without replumbing.
Results & Design Achievements
A custom shroud directs high-velocity airflow along the entire motor casing, concentrating maximum air movement under the hottest electronic zones.
A mechanical seal-release system and a quick-cam lid end the struggle with stuck threaded covers — one smooth quarter-turn and the basket is open.
The lock handle blends into the body styling and the base consolidates into a rigid, one-piece footrest — fewer parts, cleaner lines.
Integrated protective covers significantly reduce motor noise for quieter background operation.
An updated colour scheme, tactile finishes and clear brand placement give the pump its showroom identity.
